The Horse Living Museum (Musée Vivant du Cheval) is closed on Tuesday.
From 5 January to 3 April, 2009: the Horse Living Museum is closed for jobs of restoration and of improvement of the reception of the public.
In 2009, the Foundation for the Safe-keeping and Development of the Chantilly Domain undertakes jobs in the Grand Stables to improve the reception of the public and to safeguard the architectural heritage.
- creation of a new heated show-space under the dome
- redevelopment of the reception of the public
- restoration of the buildings in the Cour des Remises (Court of Deliveries) (end of jobs in 2010)
In their reopening in April, 2009, the Grand Stables offer a new programming of shows and equestrian representations: “Chevaux en fête”.
